When Ron Carter Went Electric: Exploring 5 Essential Albums

Ron Carter is one of my favorite electric bass player, period. 

His bass lines are always to the point and tasteful. He definitely brings to the table the same elegance and attention to details that he carries on the upright. 

I remember when I was a kid I loved hearing Ron Carter playing electric bass on the track “Tout De Suite” from Miles Davis’ album “Filles Of Kilimanjaro” and over the years I’ve been searching and collecting those records where he plays electric and I have discovered some real gems.
