A few days ago I started thinking about it again, the pursuit of the essence.

Every time I record myself I can say that I find some good things here and there, some good melodies or developments.

What I feel the most though is that the music I create, either writing or improvising, needs to breathe more.

That very thought brought me to meditate about the essence of the musical message.

The thing that goes beyond technique, all of the things we know and all of the things we play.

Sound is what delivers it.

Therefore, everything I play should be connected with my sound first and foremost.
