Recording Session 02/20/2022
Through the years, flying became for me a place of reflection. Sometimes even too much.
On January 9th, while on the plane back to New York City, I started thinking about doing a double tenor saxophone project and writing some music specifically for that occasion.
One of the first things that I did after landing in NYC was put down the ideas that I had in mind, which became four different tunes.
After my friend Yonatan Guedj helped me arrange these compositions for two tenors, I called in Ben Solomon, Neta Raanan and Adam Arruda. We spent a whole afternoon recording this new material.
The recording was a lot of fun and I think that everyone did a great job.
Stay tuned to listen to the results!
Special Thanks to Justin Salisbury and Stefano Genova for their professional work and to Yonatan, Ben, Neta and Adam for their music.
