Mount Harissa

Right before I left NYC, me, Eviatar Slivnik and Daniele Germani gathered some music and we went to Sear Sound to record some stuff.

It was a very good learning experience and we got to record a few tunes written by me and Daniele. We also recorded “Mount Harissa”, a tune written by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, part of the “Far East Suite”.

Please make sure to have a listen.

If you are interested also in the creative process, here you can listen to the alternate takes:

Currently I find myself at the airport in Rome waiting for my flight to Sicily where I will be staying for a few days before going to play in Spain with a very good quartet led by Daniel Casares featuring also some of my compositions.

Peace,

G.C.
